The program I am trying to edit mp3's with overflows. Anyway, the music starts after a while, so I hope you like it.

Sorry to say this but the sound quality is appalling. Otherwise I'd probably quite enjoy that.

Hi NotBob!
I can learn more from criticism than from praise. I just played this one through on my system at home, and it sounds exactly the way it did when I heard it with my ears in Greece, live, in the open air. It would help if you could tell me in what way (or possibly ways!) the sound quality is appalling. There should not be any distortion from cut-off peaks, and it should have recorded at a high enough bit-rate to avoid any of mp3's lossy recording problems.-

It sounds crackly and distorted much like trying to play a stretched casette tape. It also jumps frequently.
If it plays ok on your system, then it must be something wrong with my laptop, though I've not had that problem before.-

That's odd! Others have played it OK. Crackly and distorted are not words I would use about it, and it doesn't jump here. It even played back OK over the Greek hotel's half speed radio network, after I had posted it. Has anyone else's music done this on your machine?

As I say, I've not had the problem before. Everyone else's music plays fine, it's just this track that sounds weird.

Let's hope it's some extremely temporary mystery.

It's by Markos, of course.
