Yesterday...

...was Markos Vamvakaris's birthday. Well obviously, as he died in 1972, he didn't celebrate it, so I did. Some nice red wine, and a bit of bouzouki music. It should have been an arghile full of hashish, but the law is an ass.

Here is our arghile, which has never been used.

can they smoke those in the coffee shops down edgware road despite the ban??????

I believe a coffee shop would be included in the law against smoking in public places, and if I remember correctly (always a risky one, that) the arghile is included in the law.

Then again, if you are referring to the dimbo bimbo Home Secretary's "ban" on drug paraphernalia, words fail me, as the "message" she sends out is that we are arbitrarily ruled by idiots.
